Our beloved Gem Star who was played by Idaho Native Holly Call has seen many changes since she first dawned the cape in 2019. Holly was born and raised in Fruitland, Idaho and in her adult years moved to Boise, Idaho. She became Gem Star in 2019 for Gem State Comic Con which is the official comic con of Idaho. Her dedication to the convention and the community were admirable and life changing for many children who looked up to her, and many fans who enjoyed getting her autograph, taking photos, or just being around her vibrant personality. Recently Holly moved to the panhandle area of Idaho where she can live a more quite life. She is well loved and will be deeply missed, but we wish her luck.
